A bit off topic here. Although a tragic event, this video is an amazing aviation disaster investigation film documenting the British Midland Canadiair 4 Crash in Stockport UK in 1967. There is some incredible footage of Canadair Northstar/Argonaut investigative flights after the disaster, as they try to figure out what brought down one of their other Northstar aircraft, killing 72 of 84 onboard. That would be one packed C-4! ruclips.net/video/Zz94kJRXWqA/видео.htmlsi=pxhBc2gf2bk-5WjI
Me: *finally sees store that sells 1/200 die cast models* The price: *$1000* Me: -_-
It’s really sad being a model plane collector and not finding any stores that sell model planes. Furthermore, any time you look on Google or Apple Maps they never direct you to an actual model plane store and instead a hobby store that never sells what you’re looking for.
hi! I was in that Japan Airlines landing at i think 18L
Nice video!

Loved PWA! I flew on their Boeing 737 aircraft when I went Saskatoon to Calgary to visit my dad. This was in the late 70s to early 80s.Then AC had many 767 and I was hooked to the wide body aircraft.
0:33 what's going on with that paint? Lettering looks in rough shape too
No live stream today, Henry?
Hey Henry! So glad to see you back and streaming again. Subbed and definitely looking forward to your future streams. Hope to see you around at YVR this summer!
Cool!
I thought IST is always warm and sunny 😂
Hey, the nose gear details are wrong, they don't match what my model has.
Great memories, was on ATN total of 4 flights, both biz on the A340. I recall Nuku Hiva had the nose cam, all sadly scrapped…
Does anybody know if this aircraft had rear-facing seats over the wing(emergency exit)?
It always made me angry when those terrible arrogant executives at McDonnell Douglas USA,blamed the Turkish pilots of the DC 10 (flight 981 Paris March 1974), for the crash of their faulty poorly designed aircraft. They didn’t stand a chance flying that turkey. Once fixed the 10 was a great aircraft, but it could have all been designed changed at the prototype phase in 1970.
Great plane spot, thanks for sharing
Heavy Heaven 👍🏻
That’s FRA… the regular security and/or transit security are by far the worst in the whole world! The wait at the passport control at such a so called /modern country is so unacceptable… I avoid FRA or just give myself 5+ hr connecting time as I missed connections in the past…
Connecting in FRA can be stressful but if you set the expectation bar correctly, it doesn’t have to be. My experience recently at FRA back in April had a one night stay built in because I was coming off of a 13 hour flight and had enough flying for one day. When comparing FRA to LHR or CDG when making a connection, I’ll choose FRA every time. There are however better options within Europe to connect. ZRH and MUC are both better than FRA and at the same time part of the LH group of hubs. Avoid MAD, LIS, FCO, ATH to connect especially in summer due to overcrowded conditions.
Frankfurt is a fantastic airport for spotting, with its huge variety of airlines and types including the Lufthansa B747. I recommend the German state TV documentary series about Frankfurt Airport. - it's great! With English subtitles: ruclips.net/video/DRv73rewtBw/видео.html
Thank you for beeing here in Frankfurt, i wish you hade an nice Trip to here
I was there in April, 2.25 hours to connect DTW flight to Bucharest, had to run, hassle, sucked…yeah 3+ hours is needed…
The airport is very unfriendly for connections because they put lots of hurdles and great distances to make it extremely stressful and difficult and if you’re not physically fit, it’s going to be impossible and/or dangerous.
Yes it was quite a run, rushed not fun. Made spotting near impossible as I was just worried about my connection.
I love this video watched it like 5 years ago the first time, but I remembered there was a longer version that I can’t find. Was it deleted?
Yes, it was deleted because the full version of my video was uploaded by somebody without my permission and I had it removed. The video that you’re now commenting on is my teaser video. The full version is premium content here on RUclips as well as on the JetFlix TV streaming platform, which I operate.
Travelling this fall to Italy via Frankfurt. Never been to either before. After watching this glad that I gave us over 3 hours transit time. I hate tight connections, especially in places where I don't know the infrastructure.
You are doing the right thing three hours is going to be fine, but I find it strange that airlines will allow people to make non viable short FRA connections in their itineraries. The airport itself can make themselves a lot more friendly for passengers as well. Other airports are not nearly as bad as this.
Doubt I'll get over to Frankfurt but good advice. What is the ding that always dings just after you leave the ground? 6:12 I heard that many times on planes. The view from the bus is great, you get right up close to the planes.
Very cool view! But really Europe, what the hell is up with all of the buses and remote stands at airports? FRA, CDG, really all of them? For a bloc so obsessed with green initiatives, I cannot imagine a bunch of buses running around a portable power units/HVAC is green at all… do better…
I invite flights attendants and pilots to chime in on this matter, but is my understanding that whenever the gear up or geared down is indicated in the flightdeck, that chime sounds and it tells the entire crew that the emergency lights in the cabin are on or off with gear up and down. It also tells the flight attendants when they are landing .. that the landing will be happening very soon.
@@JetFlix I guess that could be, would like to hear from someone who works on the plane to.
@@mzrzfxr How else will people get around? The ground crews use more fuel than the buses do.
@@crushingvanessa3277 for now agreed the real answer is to build more terminals and trains or monorails to connect them
beautiful plane behind you
It sure is! The new CASA Kingfisher.

Amazing I’ve seen the Royal Canadian Air Force C-17 at Yvr at midnight from Yellowknife
It’s a very impressive airplane. I love seeing it perform as much as I can.
My dad retired before that plane came into service. Happy thoughts
What type was your dad on? I presume he was in the Air Force. I’m going to guess Airbus or C-130 Hercules?
He was flight engineer on the 707 the cp 140 cp aroura the the lab search and rescue 442 sqd from comox I can say I been coast to coast
My dad retired in 95 before the air bus took over and retired the 707
That plane is stationed @ 8 WING TRENTON 437 the husky sqd transport wing .
These plane will never be seen again which is so sad
They still can perform. Still a good plane, still looks like a plane.
It's real ?
Will be flying on EW Discover soon. Really helps!! Thanks Henry!
Very good Aydin .. their on board product is pretty good but if you’re checking baggage through Frankfurt, it’s definitely a risk. The baggage handling at Frankfurt airport is contracted out and the airlines aren’t directly responsible. Certainly the case of Eurowings Discover .. so best if you do not check luggage.
@@JetFlix Thank you so much for letting me know! Yes, EW Discover is identical to Lufthansa's product, and Lufthansa is really good so I hope EW Discover is like that. This review really does help, as I have an idea of what to expect. Thanks again, and I may share some photos with you next week from this upcoming (less than 8 days) trip!
Old Roman nose herk... Saw a couple of these at Little Rock back in the mid 80's on there way to the bone yard...

Hi Henry, how do i get my hands on a Dc-8 this scale no cutaways
If you collect nodels for 30 or 40 years, you build up a network of contacts across the world and eventually such models show up by word-of-mouth and in collections etc. You can also check eBay. And websites like aircraftdisplaymodels.com
I gather engine noise was far less with the Vanguard than the Viscount which was ear shattering, but only TCA and BEA ever bought the plane new.
Although I flew both Viscount and Vanguard in the summer of 1996 on cargo aircraft in the UK, I don’t remember them being noisy, but I was in the cockpit of both aircraft so I can’t speak to cabin noise in the passenger environment.
I am not a pilot, just a passenger. My first flight took place on March 25, 1964 in a "FAUCETT" DOUGLAS DC-6B, from Lima to Iquitos (Domestic Peruvian flight) I was 14 years old now I'm 74.
What a great memory you have Alejandro .. that’s a very nice aircraft as your first flight.
Wow, nice and long stream today! Glad the technical difficulties decided to take the day off. I always enjoy your Thursday south terminal shows, there seems to be a nice variety, especially on weekdays. Those Central Mountain Air and Summit Air birds are used typically for Mining Charters, I don't believe they're used for fishing charters too often. Cheers Henry!
Thank you for the clarification on that. I was just thinking they could also be used for fishing charters when they’re not doing the mining work … these companies don’t really say too much what they’re doing and I have no connections into any of them. So we just have to go on the destination to make assessment of what kind of charter it is.
@@JetFlix yeah you're right, Central Mountain Air and Summit Air are quite secretive about their Charter services. However, according to a few Pilots that I have contact with, the vast majority of their charter work goes into the workforce, mostly mining, oil sands, and forestry. This can also include commercial fishing companies though.
